Understanding CBD

How It Works

Your body naturally produces its own cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids. This chemical helps your body maintain balance by tapping into receptors found throughout your body. Phytocannabinoids are plant-based compounds that mimic these natural chemicals, connecting with the same receptors and help your system to restore balance.

The process

Our CBD comes from the female cannabis stative plant, which is 100% organically grown medicinal hemp. Our plants are cultivated and extracted to produce the highest quality CBD within the market. Each product is then manufactured in an FDA compliant facility and thoroughly tested to ensure safety and transparency for our customers.

Different Types of CBD

Isolate

This is CBD isolated from the plant and is converted into a powder like substance. This isolate is then added to a carrier oil. CBD alone is a great product, as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. However, it does not have the medicinal benefits of a full-spectrum product.

Broad Spectrum

Broad spectrum CBD is a mix between isolate and full spectrum CBD. Meaning that the CBD is extracted in the same way as full spectrum but similar to isolate, all the TCH content has been removed.

Full Spectrum

Full Spectrum CBD is extracted from the cannabis plant along with all the compounds it contains. Because of this, it means full spectrum CBD contains small traces of THC (<0.3%). This is not enough to create phycological effects.

UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE

Industrial Hemp

The industrial hemp plant grows to be about 20-feet tall and is used to create industrial products such as rope, clothing, paper, textiles, and more. The industrial hemp plant produces hemp seed oil which we use as a carrier oil in all Go Hemp products to help our bodies absorb all the beneficial cannabinoids.

Medicinal Hemp

Medicinal Hemp looks similar to the marijuana plant but grows to be smaller than industrial hemp plants and resembles a bush with more leaves and buds surrounding the body. The only difference between this plant and marijuana is the level of THC content and psychological effects it has. Legally, hemp must contain .3% or less.

Will i get high?

THC is removed from all Go Hemp products. Even though the THC is removed, there are still traces (<0.03%) found within each products. This is not enough to give any physcological effects to the consumer.
